The Color Pop Cottage is a vibrant, guest-ready retreat designed to bring bold personality and high-performing functionality to the short-term rental market in Cary, North Carolina. This project focused on striking a balance between curated style and strategic investments—elevating the home through high-impact updates while remaining budget-conscious and rental-friendly.
 

Working within the home’s existing layout, we layered in confident color, modern furnishings, and renter-ready upgrades to create a space that photographs beautifully and lives even better. Rich navy and sage tones, sculptural lighting, and intentional artwork were used throughout to create a boutique-like feel, while faux marble finishes, easy-care textiles, and streamlined storage ensure durability and ease of use for guests and operators alike.

Every decision—from swapping in modern bathroom vanities to enhancing exterior patios with statement seating and privacy screens—was made to maximize visual appeal, comfort, and nightly rate potential. The result is a short-term rental that feels fresh, cohesive, and full of personality—designed to stand out in a competitive market while delivering lasting ROI for the homeowner.
