Nestled in the scenic backdrop of Lake Lure, this once-dark and dated property was transformed by Lush Living Designs into a vibrant, family-friendly retreat. Our design intent was clear from the start: brighten the space, amplify the natural light, and infuse every room with playful charm and cohesion.

We leaned into a palette of coastal blues, crisp whites, and wood textures to echo the natural lakeside surroundings, while adding comfort-forward furnishings and whimsical wall accents to keep the home lighthearted and welcoming. The living room, now anchored by an oversized sectional and layered rugs, creates the perfect space for large groups to gather, relax, and connect.

From the bunk room designed to maximize sleeping arrangements without sacrificing style, to the fully outfitted game and lounge area, each decision was rooted in enhancing guest experience and boosting nightly rates. With functional upgrades, elevated furnishings, and a cohesive visual identity, this retreat now stands out in a competitive short-term rental market, earning rave reviews and commanding higher occupancy.
