Lake Lure Retreat

This Lake Lure property had a great setting and a dark, dated interior. Our job was to let in more light, pull the rooms into one look and make the house work for families.

We used coastal blues, crisp whites and natural wood. The living room got an oversized sectional and layered rugs so a big group can sit together. The bunk room adds sleeping space without losing style, and the game and lounge area gives kids and adults their own place to hang out.

Since the redesign, the property has earned strong guest reviews and higher occupancy.
