Blue Haven Bungalow
A modest Carrboro home turned guest-ready on a careful budget.
Blue Haven Bungalow is a modest home in Carrboro. We kept the design restrained and made every purchase earn its place in the budget.
The palette is warm and neutral with layered texture, a nod to Carrboro's artsy character and the nearby UNC crowd. We mixed the owner's existing furniture with new pieces. The primary suite is calm, the queen room feels like a hotel room, and the bunk room is styled to work for any group.
Layered lamps and ambient lighting warm every room. Smart storage and durable materials hold up to frequent turnovers, and updates at the entry and exterior improved curb appeal and guest security.
